1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by Slovenia Photography Tours (“we”, “us”, or “our”). Once you complete or confirm the booking, it is presumed that you accept these Terms and Conditions. 

2. Services Provided

We offer private photography tours and custom itineraries in Slovenia. All services are tailored individually to each client or private group.

3. Booking and Payment

  • A booking is confirmed only after a 20% deposit has been received.

  • Once the deposit is paid, we begin preparing your custom itinerary and digital guidebook.

  • The remaining 80% must be paid at least 30 days before the start of the tour.

  • Upon successful completion of the payment, you will receive an electronic purchase confirmation, which constitutes the contract between you and us.

  • Final documents (itinerary, guidebook, instructions) are delivered only after full payment is received.

4. Pricing – What’s Included / Not Included

Included:

  • Custom tour itinerary based on professional photography knowledge

  • Daily advice and support

  • Digital guidebook with detailed instructions

  • GPS navigation to locations

  • Best time-to-shoot guidance

  • Alternative location suggestions based on conditions

Not Included:

  • Accommodation

  • Transportation (car rental, fuel, tolls, parking)

  • Flights and travel to/from Slovenia

  • Food, drinks, personal expenses

  • Travel insurance

Optional Extras:

  • Help with booking accommodation and car rental

  • On-location photography guidance

  • Custom itinerary adjustments

  • Private 1:1 photography coaching

5. Cancellations and Refunds

All cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Key principles:

  • Full refund of deposit if cancelled 30+ days before the tour

  • No refunds after full payment and delivery of materials

  • No refunds for no-shows

6. Weather and Photography Conditions

  • Tours operate in all weather conditions, except in cases of extreme safety risks.

  • We do not guarantee specific conditions such as fog, snow, frozen landscapes, or lighting.

  • Our service is based on maximizing probability and planning—not guarantees.

  • No refunds are provided based on weather dissatisfaction or unmet expectations regarding conditions.

7. Itinerary Flexibility

  • All itineraries are flexible and may be adjusted based on:

    • Weather conditions

    • Light and photography opportunities

    • Safety considerations

  • Changes to locations and timing are a core part of the service and are expected.

8. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Have a basic level of physical fitness (unless otherwise agreed)

  • Wear appropriate clothing for outdoor conditions

  • Bring suitable photography equipment

  • Follow provided guidance, timing, and GPS navigation

Failure to follow instructions may result in:

  • Missed photography opportunities

  • Suboptimal results

We are not responsible for outcomes if instructions are not followed.

9. Liability Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for:

    • Personal injury

    • Loss or damage to equipment

    • Travel delays or disruptions

    • Weather conditions or natural events

Participation in tours is at your own risk.

Clients may be required to sign a liability waiver before the tour begins.

10. Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to:

  • Safety concerns

  • Unforeseen circumstances

  • Force majeure events

In such cases, clients will be offered:

  • A full refund, or

  • The option to reschedule

11. Travel and Insurance

Clients are strongly advised to obtain travel insurance, including coverage for:

  • Cancellations

  • Medical emergencies

  • Travel disruptions

12. Punctuality and No-Shows

  • Reasonable delays (e.g. travel issues) may be accommodated where possible

  • No-shows are non-refundable

13. Minors

  • Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian

14. Behavior

We reserve the right to terminate a tour without refund if a client:

  • Behaves in a disruptive or unsafe manner

  • Fails to follow instructions

  • Compromises the experience or safety of others

15. Intellectual Property

All materials provided by Slovenia Photography Tours, including but not limited to:

  • Digital guidebooks

  • Custom itineraries

  • GPS locations and navigation data

  • Written content and planning materials

are the intellectual property of Slovenia Photography Tours and are protected by applicable copyright laws.

These materials are provided for personal use only. Clients may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute materials

  • Share materials with third parties

  • Resell or use materials for commercial purposes

Any unauthorized use may result in legal action.

16. Client Photography

All photographs taken by clients during the tour remain the property of the client.

17. Use of Images for Marketing

We may request permission to use photographs taken during the tour for promotional purposes (e.g. website, social media). Such use will only occur with the client’s consent.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia.

19. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
